How to make healthy Sri Lankan coconut roti at home

Pol roti is also known as coconut roti is a Sri Lankan roti recipe(a type of rustic flatbread) that is made up of flour, grated coconut with diced green chilies and onions for extra texture.more details - click here

Ingredients. Corn flour, Scraped coconut , water , curry leaves , onions , salt , green chilli , carrot

1. First wash the carrots, curry leaves, onions and green chillies and chop finely.

2. Now put some flour in a bowl, add coconut, salt and finely chopped ingredients and mix well.

3. Then add some water and make the doughy.

4. Now make balls out of the doughy.

5. Use your finger tips and only press around the ball to make it a circle.

6. Carefully place the roti on the hot pan.

7. Bake until both sides are browned.

8. You can serve the roti lunumiris, pork curry or jackfruit curry.
